非线性分析与应用暑期班于6月12-18日在哈尔滨师范大学松北校区理工一号楼举行。暑期班旨在介绍非线性分析及应用领域的最新进展，主要面向青年教师和研究生。内容涉及分歧理论及在偏微分方程和生物数学中的应用，非线性椭圆方程及变分理论。暑期班由哈尔滨师范大学研究生院研究生学术交流项目和开云（中国）双一流建设经费资助。为保证听课效果，限定60人，请各单位统一报名，按优先顺序排序，组委会将公布录取学员名单。本次讲座由于时间仓促，不能安排食宿，请学员见谅。

Title: Bifurcation theory and itsapplications in PDEs and mathematical biology (分歧理论及在偏微分方程和生物数学中的应用）

Abstract: In mathematical models fromphysical or biological applications, non-homogeneous states often arise as aresult of symmetry breaking from homogeneous states, which is calledbifurcation phenomenon. Some classical and new abstract bifurcation theorems,including local, global bifurcations, will be reviewed or introduced; secondlywe show some applications of these results in nonlinear partial differentialequations arising from biological systems, and we focus on the effect ofdiffusion, advection, taxis and nonlocal terms on the dynamics. When possible,we also show the global bifurcation structure and exact multiplicity of steadystate solutions. The course is suitable for graduate students in nonlinearpartial differential equations and mathematical biology who are familiar withpartial differential equations, dynamical systems and functional analysis.There will be 4 lectures and each lecture is 2 hours.

史峻平教授简介：史峻平，美国威廉玛丽学院(College of William and Mary)数学系主任，汉密尔顿讲座教授。1990-93年南开大学学习，1998年毕业于美国杨百翰大学，获博士学位。主要研究方向为偏微分方程，动力系统，分歧理论，非线性泛函分析，生物数学。在偏微分方程，分歧理论方面的研究工作受到国际上广泛重视。另外在生物数学，包括种群模型，生物化学反应，形态生成，生态系统稳定性等方面都有研究。曾任哈尔滨师范大学龙江学者讲座教授，山西大学百人计划讲座教授，主持参加美国和中国国家科学基金会基金项目多项，主持组织国际学术会议20多次，在国际学术会议做大会报告/邀请报告100余次。担任多个国际知名SCI刊物编委，为80多种数学、物理、生物刊物审稿人。发表学术论文150余篇，其中被SCI收录140余篇，被SCI杂志引用2000余次（它引1700余次）。

Title: Topics in nonlinear elliptic problems(about 9-12 hours)    

Lecture 1:Minimization andcompactness: introduction, semi linear problems inbounded domains, some usefulresults in analysis, concentration compactness; Schrodinger equations inunbounded domains

Lecture2：Symmetry and symmetry breaking: radial symmetry of positivesolutions, symmetric criticality principle, radial solutions, multiple nonradial positive solutions

Lecture3: Symmetry and nodalsolutions: symmetric mountain pass theorem, genus, invariant sets of gradientflow, multiple nodal solutions, coupled Schrodinger equations

王志强教授简介：美国犹他州立大学教授和福建师范大学国家特聘专家。1982年毕业于吉林大学，1984和1986年在中科院数学所分别获硕士和博士学位.后在北京大学，纽约大学，犹他大学和威斯康星大学博士后和访问研究，1991年到犹他州立大学工作，1998年终身教授至今。研究领域为非线性泛函分析和非线性微分方程，2014年当选美国数学会会士。
